Customer Underground is a new site with a simple mission - to be the best place online for customers to find and rate local businesses in Australia.
Our aim is to empower customers with a user-driven site, and ultimately change how Australian businesses treat them.
We do that by:
- publishing all of our users' business ratings, customer service stories, and comments on other people's stories.
- ranking local businesses according to your ratings, so you can see where to shop and where to avoid.
- sharing our own ratings, stories and comments, as well as all the latest news and videos on customer service.
Why did we start the Underground? Because we finally got to the point where the though of one more lousy service experience, being put on hold one more time, shunted between departments again or getting one more form letter, didn't just make us want to scream... it made us want to change things.
We reckon there's plenty of other customers who feel like we do.
Using Customer Underground is cathartic and it’s free. It’s a way to help fellow customers, get things off your chest, and help businesses improve. Anyone can join — customers, businesses, even the guy who comes on to tell you they're "currently experiencing higher than expected call volumes". We're both for customers and businesses: we believe service done well is better for all.
