Customer Underground - Our New Manifesto!
With thanks to crackerjack new maven Weller, we're proud to publish our Customer Underground manifesto (only took us about a year, and someone else's help, to crack it).
Let us know your thoughts, good or bad in the comments section below? And Customers Unite!:
"The Customer Underground Manifesto.
Customers of Australia!
For too long, the spectre of bad service has haunted our shores, our shops and our souls.
For too long, we have been ignored by the haughty waiter, condescended by the proud assistant, and insulted by the conceited receptionist.
And we have been shunted, one too many a time, onto yet another department, forced to fill in yet another form, where our complaints will be drowned out by the infinite nothingness of apathy.
And by these repeated experiences, our dignity is ground away, like so much Free Trade Arabian Coffee, until it is nothing but a brown powdery lump.
And with our dignities so reduced, we have had no outlet, no forum, no single comprehensive Australian website, to tell the stories of our service scars to one another.
In short: We suffer.
But, Customers of Australia, this need not be so.
For we, the Underground, will start up a better tomorrow.
For we, the Underground, will attempt a total revolution of service, and form a community of empowered and enlightened customers, where there has been none before.
We therefore promise:
1) We shall publish, for all to see, your ratings of businesses, your stories of customer service, and your comments on the plights of others
2) We shall rank local businesses, according to your ratings, so that you have the choice of where to shop.
3) We shall share our own ratings, stories and comments, and also the latest news and videos on customer service.
4) We shall make the Customer Underground free to use.
And hence, we shall unite at the customer underground, to find our freedom, our catharsis, our glasnost.
And ultimately we shall benefit both customer and business.
For service done well,
Is service better for all!
Welcome to the underground!"
