I was told about 1car1 by a smash repairer. When you have a not-at-fault accident, you are entitled to a rental car for the period your car is being fixed. 1car1 will organise this for you and charge the other party's insurance company. (Unless, of course, the other driver gives a completely different version of events, as happened to me when an NRMA roadside assist driver turned into the side of my car, but that's another story). Sorry, I digress...So these guys are the bomb. I organised a rental car for 10 days @ $39 per day. They don't charge your credit card with a $500 holding fee or whatever that fee is. You just go in and pick up the car. They have excellent follow up and impeccable customer service. Well done!
