The best Sicilian green olives ever
A fabulous deli that not only has the usual deli-type stuff (great cheeses, cured meats home-made dips, etc) but also does home-cooked take away meals and coffee. Alimento is also perfect for a lunch time sandwich, and has the best Sicilian green olives ever!
Deli items but they also cook a take-away dinner
Usual deli items but they also cook a take-away dinner ($12), like normal home-cooked meals, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday eg beef casserole, chicken curry, Moroccan vegies. On the first Wednesday of every month the knife sharpener comes and you can leave your knives with them overnight. It costs $4 per knife and they come back as sharp as razor blades. Note: the knife-sharpener replaced my knives in the block with the blades facing up. It seems so obvious that I don't know why I didn't think of that myself. Am I the only one who has always stored them in the block resting on the blades
