I'm converted -- thx Underground!
After spending too many pennies on a Darlinghurst salon of some repute, I decided to try Atlantis -- also might help to avoid a $200 parking ticket in addition to the price tag I typically get in Darlinghurst. So Atlantis is something different -- convenient, jiving, and the maestros are not all of a type. It's got a diverse clientele as well-- gender ambidextrous. My main guy Joe is just fab. I recommend it and glad to have discovered it through the Underground.
Amazing and luxurious!
I've been going to Atlantis for more than two years and I'd never get my hair coloured anywhere else!
The natural hair care products are absolutely amazing - very kind to your hair. I had previously had bleach used on my hair which made it get dry, brittle and frizzy but the seaweed lightener is so gentle and doesn't make your hair go that funny orange colour like bleach does. Also it has no fumes, so no choking for half an hour while your colour sets!
The stylists are all really friendly and generous with the drinks!
Getting your hair washed is a trip to heaven with the great long head massage you get (and even better if you get a treatment as give you an awesome steal towel!)
I'd recommend it to anyone - especially blondes wanting to get rid of orange/brassy tones from their bleached hair - they sorted me out in one session!

What a great salon! Fantastic customer service - felt very pampered. I loved every second of it, everything from the delicious tea and cake to the fabulous head massage and blow dry. Joe certainly has talent cutting and styling hair. I have not had one day pass by that I don’t get a comment about how great my hair looks since the day it was cut by Joe at Atlantis Hair! Loving it! So thanks for a great experience and great hair!
The best hair salon in Sydney!
I love my visits to Atlantis. It feels like a treat every time I visit. The head massage, the music and the coffee, wine or tea are great. But best of all is the way my favourite stylist Jade listens to what I want, knows what suits me, and always comes up with the greatest cut! Thank you Atlantis!

Best aspect of this salon is the stylists are intelligent and will customise your look according to what actually suits you - zero risk of coming out of the salon with the ever so boring "Sydney girl" look, unless that is actually what you want.
Remember The Man from Atlantis?
Did Patrick Duffy in The Man from Atlantis make it to Aussie tv in the 80's? Anyway, all that talk of 6 packs and webbed feet; I digress. Atlantis is a great spot for a pamper and a people watch. Hilarious dialogue between the staff, clients, and anyone who walked in off the street, it was like being in a sit com. My hair was deftly cut into an ever so slightly edgy (ok not really, I'm too conservative to do edgy) look by Alan and coloured to perfection by Wayne, using sweet and gentle ammonia free Original and Mineral products and the whole Atlantis experience was fab. Great food from the cafe next door, cheerfully hand delivered, huge selection of herbal teas, great coffee lots of attention to detail. Loved it. Oh - and The Husband liked the hair. Always a good sign ;-)
Favourite Hairdressing Salon
I was introduced to Atlantis via a free promo through work and I have never looked back...I am a strawberry blonde wishing i was a platinum blonde and Atlantis' colouring is not harsh and looks absolutely impeccable.
Fabulous service for money as well.

They are just wonderful, the hairdressers are experienced and you always leave looking great. The customer service (Madeline!) is exceptional! They are warm, friendly and above all the best I have ever been to!

I always know that I will walk out with amazing hair everytime I visit Atlantis Hair. I have been long, short, light and dark and the result is always great.
Wayne and Alan make you feel like you are in someone's lounge room while you are visiting. Chatting to everyone over a coffee or wine.

A great salon in the heart of Paddington, Sydney
I've been to this salon several times since discovering it a year or so ago. A relaxed and friendly setting with great service, lovely staff and it's great value for money. The blowdrys are the BEST!

I have known Alan Buki co-founder of Atlantis hair for 12 years as he cut my hair in London. Alan still cuts my hair but I also have Jade for colour and extensions. Going to Atlantis is a real treat- I can relax have a glass of wine, chat and enjoy myself as the clientele and staff are friendly and fun. Most importantly of course I want spectacular hair at good value and there's nowhere better than Atlantis. I recently had a keratin treatment which has relaxed my hair and made the condition superb- i wash my hair, brush and rough dry and its perfect. Thanks Atlantis for making my hair look good and for always ensuring your customers enjoy the experience!
I finally found the perfect Hairdresser!
After years of searching for the perfect Hair salon, I think I have finally found the one, Atlantis Hair! It is such a relief to find a salon with such great atmosphere and someone I trust with my Hair!
From the moment I walked in I was pampered by the staff, offered an assortment of yummy herbal teas, coffee or pherhaps an energising wheatgrass shot! They made me feel relaxed and pampered.
At Atlantis you are not just another customer, they actually care about looking after you hair using the Original & Mineral range. They steer clear of sulfates, ammonia, parabeens and many other nasties. At first I was skeptical about achieving professional results with less chemicals, But the results were exceptional and offer an extensive colour range. Whats not to love about healthier hair whilst still achieving the best results. The idea is revoultionairy!
If you are after Ballayage you must see Ballayage Guru Larissa! She is hot in demand for this popular look and does such an amazing job on my hair. Everytime i get my hair coloured I count down the weeks until im due for another appointment, I love indulging at Atlantis!
hot hair which is healthier for you!
the staff are super sweet and really know what they are talking about. i have been concerned about using such chemicals as parabens and phthalates in my shampoo's and conditioner's and this salon stock a product range i like to use called Original & Mineral. i read an article about the owner in Vogue Aus and was interested in seeing what the company's colour was like and i am so happy with the result! my hair feels super healthy and i don't have to use harsh chemicals to get blonde hair!! i recently signed up to their rewards system where you can recommend a friend and get a great discount- either way the prices are really reasonable and all the young hair dressers really know what they're doing. yummy tea they serve too. <3 atlantis hair
