Good selection but a patchy experience
Despite Babies Galore having a reliably wide selection of baby needs and toys, I try to avoid it as I have found the service inconsistent and the prices high. Plus, the different branding and 'feel' of the two stores I've been to (Randwick and Camperdown) I find strange. All-in-all, it means that while I'm generally sure I'll find the product I'm looking for, I'm never quite sure what kind of customer experience I'll have: smooth and helpful or terse or unavailable.
Not "galorious"
Now really, Babies Galore, do you really think that a 8 week wait time without notification is appropriate for a young mother who has come into the store in person to order a sun shade for her pram? I mean 2 months in the life of a child means leaps of growth, huge numbers of pram trips, and possibly going from blob to full fledge toddler. I just cannot understand why a new baby store does not open in Sydney to provide good service to the legions of new mums and bubs flooding the streets. Opportunity people!
