I opened a business bank account with Bankwest 2 years ago and was so disappointed with the level of service I received, at great inconvenience, I closed the account and moved to Commonwealth. As my business grew, I requested a meeting with the bank manager and was told I would be phone back. Despite several follow up calls, I never heard from the bank manager. The queues in Bank West were ridiculously long, and the website was often down.My Bank West credit card had strange admin fees included which fluctuated month on month and no one could tell me what they were for.I had a few billing disputes that were never resolved, and I deemed it more cost effective to close the account than deal with Bank West any longer.I believe Bank West is a budget bank, so although it claims to have minimal fees and charges, you will compromise on service.
