The original and still Victoria St, Potts Point's best coffee
Amazing coffee, toast and pastries, and wonderful vibe, all of which has - in a rare occurrence of the type - managed to survive the departure of the original owners (the Coluzzi family, now running a Bar Coluzzi in High Street, Randwick, opposite the Prince of Wales Children's Hospital). The Coluzzi of Kings Cross is still the best cafe in Victoria Street. And the cheapest, I suspect!
The perfect Vegemite toast
I wish I hadn't been up this Sunday morning at 6am, but at least Bar Coluzzi's perfect Vegemite Turkish toast & strong coffee was some compensation. The place is tiny, but they have plenty of chairs so you can perch on the sidewalk; the service is quick, the food is simple but tasty, the prices reasonable, the people-watching is great - and they're open every morning at 5am (I hope to never get there that early!).
