The George Clooney of shirt shops
I am not the type to mist up over fashion. After all, my idea of a big friday night is a six-pack and Friday Night Football. I am also not one who thinks business shirts must cost $180 each to be any good. However I still LOVE Baubridge & Kay. Beautiful fabrics, immaculately cut make the best business shirts going around. You know, the ones you pull out for the big presentation or the meeting with the CEO. The "A" Shirts, which make up an all-too-small proportion of your wardrobe. The ones that make you feel like George Clooney when you put them on. That's Baubridge & Kay. The fact the service is friendly, knowledgeable and invariably delivered by attractive 22 year-olds completes the package. B & K know their target customer: me! As it happens they also do beautiful shirts for women. Go there.
Beautiful shirts
Only after buying some shirts from Baubridge did I realise what a difference a beautiful business shirt makes to a professional look: their gorgeous fabrics add zing, while the tailored cuts add smoothness. Message communicated: competent, high-quality, understated. They are my shirt-shopping destination of choice - both for my own shirts as well as for the husband. Prices are somewhat high, but there are often discounts if you buy multiple shirts; service has been excellent every time I've been there.
