Bianco Nero

Bianco Nero has been open for over a year now and it's about time that Gymea has some quality coffee! Bianco really hits the spot. 

They currently use Single Origin beans, roasted in Surrey Hills, and do a very good job at extracting the goodness. Both black coffees and milk based drinks are of high quality. 

There do seem to be a lot of new staff faces from time to time, but I guess with a growing business this is bound to occur. Having said this, no doubt it is a tough challenge to find and retain quality staff- particularly in the hospitality industry.

Excitingly, they are currently constructing an outside deck which will increase their seating dramatically, as well as offer some much needed morning sunlight to really brighten up the atmosphere. Since the terms 'bianco nero' mean 'black and white' respectively, the interior reflects this. It looks quite schmick, true; but the sun will really add another dimension in my opinion.

Oh, finally- the muesli is great and good value for money. At only $7.50, you get a giant bowl with a generous serving of muesli, honey and some strawberries carefully folded into the yoghurt. I ate it today and I'd just as easily have it again tomorrow :)
