Intriguingly eclectic, just like its name
While strolling down Crown Street it's worth a peek into CSF. They feature contemporary designers with a specialty in fabrics. The mix is broad without being unwieldy. It's the unlikely pairings they suggest that I appreciate most. And, if you are searching for a gift for someone who has everything, the guys here have always been a wellspring of ideas.
cool homewares and great service
Chee Soon and Fitzgerald is my go-to place whenever I need something fun and unique for our house. CSF carry a pretty complete range of Marimekko fabrics as well as other Scandinavian and Australian design items (pillows, teatowels, pillow cases, bed spreads, vases, cups and the like). I have had pillows made up, and fabric stretched to make artwork. The guys here are all extremely knowledgable about design, and offer great advice about what might work. Highly recommended.
