STAY AWAY
This would have to be the worst company I have had the displeasure to deal with. It has taken months for them to install a solar panel. Since September 2009 we order the panels and were told it will take 2 weeks for the installer to come out. Every 2-3 weeks I contacted them and were told the same story, 2 weeks. It is now March 2010 and they have finally finished the installation. BUT its not switched on because they have not made contact with the electricity company yet. But thats only 2 weeks away. AGAIN. Spoke with numerous people and the only thing they wanted to share was their email address. Customer (LACK OF) service department were rude and un helpful. I tried so many times to get through to the installation department . They would not help or put me through. So if you are after the number for Clear Solar installation use the following number (03) 8833 1123. That their direct line. Only use this number if you were silly enough to pay them and have the installation started.Clear Solar is a company that I suggest you walk away from. MD Paul Wilson won't even talk to you. Customer service people are abusing and unhelpful. I am so sorry I picked up the phone and made the call. Once they have your money, you will be stuck. They are not interested in giving it back. STAY AWAY.
Satisfied customer despite some hiccups

We paid for solar panels to be installed on March 2010. It is now November 2010 and installation has not even begun. The customer service is appalling to say the least. Every time we call them, they say they are busy and will call us back - this never happens. We end up calling them again and again. Not only this, but they expect us to do the leg work for them - they sent us a letter requesting that we take and print multiple photos of our roof and to send it to them by mail. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Who knows if I will ever be able to use solar energy, especially when they keep dogging my calls.
