Reviews
Oh wow, what a damn nice suprise!!
Please walk thru the door after reading this review and tell the bearded gent behind the bar with the kind eyes who says his name is Roy that Bek sent you with the most sincere of praise and "you should totally go there" praise!
This place is a lovely little breath of fresh air- doing what it wants instead of what everyone else seems to be doing, and just so damn well! I had such a lovely time I will be back with a book, and a need for tasty wine solo. Yes, people. It is that seriously charming and nice and just nesty that I will happily go solo.
I had the scotch eggs but couldnt tempt my finicky partner, even though it was bloody brill! That's OK because he was tucking into the tart and having a great time doing so. Topping it off was a gorgeous Barossa Valley Prim and a shared creme brulee that made me understand for once and for all what Edward Albee was trying to say when gushing his way through "Counting the Ways".
Roy and his staff were just lovely. Attentive, non intrusive, gave all the right measure of customer service and good down to earth cheer. Man, I have lived in Redfern for a decade and I have wished for this place! Finally, it has arrived.
Special, individual, quality, warm of heart = Dryland
