There are so many tailors but while you may get a cheap price you often get very poor quality work. Elena Fashion is a one woman tailor in Potts Point. She's incredibly good - she's magically mended so many clothes of mine, giving them years more life. You need to be specific when she's taking up pants - she can take them up a little higher than you want, so err on the long side when she pins them up. But her work in general (mending, repairing, replacing) is always superb. She usually needs a week to alter things - especially if you take her more than a few times.
