A smile and a chat and a great meal always!
This is my local and I just love these guys!
They have the most awesome ricotta breakfast of roasted tomatoes, sour dough toast smothered in ricotta with avocado and leafy spinach that I add bacon to and just cannot get enough of. The service is ultra friendly but down to earth, they remember your regular coffee order, ask how you are and are pet friendly for those of us who love taking their well trained on leash pooch for a wee bit of breaky time.
What makes these guys so special is they are honestly good people serving up nice, honest and tasty food. They also have free Unwired, so you can guess where I do all of my business meetings!
They had me at Hellos
First dropped into First Drop on the weekend and was amazed to be greeted by the first 5 staff I saw. No kidding - they all said hello! Shades of Jerry Maguire as I mentally awarded them 4 CU stars right off the bat. My breakfast of ricotta, tomato, egg and other goodies on toast did nothing to compromise the ranking. A nice space too, with indoor and outdoor options, means there's plenty to like at this leafy East Redfern establishment.
