Great brekkie or brunch place
A Saturday or Sunday is always better if your day kicks off at Flat White. Really friendly service people, fast service, and everything on the menu is great (I'm partial to the omelet). And you won't leave hungry.
They take their coffee - not themselves - seriously
Flat White maintains snobbishly high food and service standards without being snobby. The vibe is friendly and casual. Whether you are in a rush or would like to camp out awhile, Flat White usually accommodates. On the downside: the secret is out. Weekend mornings will be crowded.
They're busy, but impressively fast considering - and food and coffee is Great!
This Woollahra fave (opposite The Lord Dudley Hotel) is always packed and, considering, it's very efficiently run. More than that, it's not outrageously priced (esp. for the area). And most important of all, the food (breakfast and dinner both) is excellent and the coffee terrific. It's hard to fault, really, in any department.
