A welcoming place, great start to an early morning
I was told this place opened early this week, and was such a welcoming and cosy place, I can't wait to return.
I had a takeaway coffee here, and while I was waiting, I admired the decor, the delectable baked goods, the macarons, practically everything because it was all beautifully presented.
The staff woke up at 3.30am to start their baking, that's dedication! I am very glad to have discovered this place, and be one of the customers to have visited during it's opening week. I am especially glad to have walked past all the other coffee shops in the city; when I caught a glimpse of this eye catching cafe/bakery, I couldn't help it - I paused and entered.
The staff are warm and friendly, there couldn't have been a better start to the day.
I'm obsessed
Flour & Stone is a new wonderful bakery that's opened in the space where Sweet Infinity used to be; it's only been there a couple of weeks and I think I've been in almost every day! There is a gorgeous selection of sweet treats - the apple tart and chocolate & rasberry cakes are ridiculously good, and make for great store-bought dessert for a dinner party, while the 'rustic cookies' are a perfect afternoon pick-me-up (I love the dark chocolate & sour cherry). There is also a selection of yummy sandwiches, all very fresh, and bread. There are a few cozy tables, and the coffee is good, and the ladies who work there are lovely. I'm a huge fan!
