Excellent customer service and a great range
My husband dragged our puppy and I into George Skoufis this morning to look at proposed glasses for him. Generally the service in optometrists leaves a lot to be desired, I find I wonder aimlessly trying on random looks with no real idea what suits my face.
From the moment we walked in (puppy included) this was a different experience. They not only remembered my husband from his previous visit a week ago, but spent another 20 minutes discussing his face shape and what best suited him and his lifestyle. After this purchase was made we ended up spending another 30 minutes with me getting the same treatment in the choice of sunglasses. Now I know why so many of my glasses fall off as apparently I have a narrow head. After 36 years it is good to know.
Their range is on the funky side, catering to the Paddington set and the COFA art students nearby. Prices are reflected in their designer brands, but I paid about the same for my sunglasses as I had in city generic branded shops.
If you want to feel like you are getting the right glasses to suit you, then give them a try.
I will never go anywhere else for glasses.
I love George Skoufis Optometrist. The staff treat you like one of the family and they tell you if you look like a nob in some of the more edgy frames. I had my first ever glasses from them last year and they helped me through the whole process.
