Gourmet Dinner Service

I recently ordered and ate my first meal from the delivery service of Gourmet Dinner Service.  It was a delicious Shepherd's Pie and all I had to do was reheat it in the oven and add some sides.  The meal was fairly priced, the delivery service was easy and the portion size generous.

I also fed my fussy 3 year old the chicken & pumpkin risotto which she grumbled about less than usual - a win in this house!

But the absolute best part of this business in my opinion is the kids recipes and tips section of the website.  With four kids to feed - all with their own dislikes - I decided to try the 'Run Chicken Run' and made it with the interested help of 8yo.  She was pleased to help, and even more importantly, pleased to eat it despite not usually liking some of the individual ingredients.  With that success behind us we then tried the 'Swamp Monster' and the meatballs dressed up like a rocket.  All three made for much more pleasant meal times and it was such a pleasure not to cook meat and three veg.  Thank you GDS,  you have a new lifelong fan!
