cultivating atmosphere
Welcomed by a modern open plan atmosphere & not just warmed by the northern sun, but by joy that surrounds the very first sip of a delightful cup known as Harry & Marios blend (HAM).
Great Coffee, great location! Simply brilliant!
This business has a real family feel, with the menu comprising of homemade, hearty meals which were fantastic value. The service was fantastic and friendly, providing good quality coffee, quickly. The guys there are very cool and make you feel you are as cool as them. There is not much else that can be said besides brilliant. It has a metropolitan feel within a wonderful sunny beach side location. Not much else can satisfy a keen coffee drinker who enjoys some sand between their toes.
Super coffee and a great location!
HAM is one of my favourite places to pull up a seat. That is, if you can find one!
The coffee is very good. The aesthetic of both the interior and exterior is very pleasant. I enjoy the blackboards onb the inside walls with the intentionally messy handwriting. This is quite the stylish feature. The shiny stainless steel offers a very sleek feel also.
As previously mentioned, the only problem with a great café is finding a seat. But this tends to happen more often than not. But what can be done?
It is particularly enjoyable of an afternoon when the rays of the sun offer a pleasant atmosphere for sitting outside. The owners and employees are very good at what they do.
The cheese platters are also amazing! Very good.
One of my favourite cafes in Sydney, great location, always lively and busy, awesome coffee and food
HAM is one of my favourite cafes to visit in Sydney. I spend quite a chunk of time driving about Sydney looking for new coffee shops that are characterised by what I can only describe as a smooth, rich, silky coffee. HAM delievers just that. Not only is the business thriving, always busy, often making it difficult to find a table, but the service is efficient. I have not yet been disappointed with a coffee experience.
Although named after the owners, Harry and Mario, HAM opened the business with a sense of wit, selling deli meats as a side to the business. I don't think it ever really took off as a deli, but it has led to a great standard being maintained in fresh made sandwiches with delicious deli meats. Most of the menu consists of home made food. Ever time I go I eye off other people's meals, especially the plates that come with crusty bread, deli meats, olives, avacado, olive oil dip and more. Haven't tried that one yet, but the day will soon come!
