They did it up and it was worth it - an excellent CBD business hotel
I was here recently for a meeting during a conference held at the hotel, and was struck, again, by what a fine job has been done of the Hilton Sydney's refurb.
The lobby is light, open and lovely. The staff are well informed, pleasant and competent. The cafe service (in a main seating area in the lobby and then again at table a flight of stairs up from the main lobby) is quick and and the quality of coffee and other drinks is good.
There's also a valet parking service for urgent car drop offs, which runs very smoothly even (as on the day I was there for a meeting) at hectic times.
In all, it's a lovely CBD business hotel, and well worth it as a meeting venue or even just to drop by, check out the refurb and enjoy a coffee.
