I love the stuff in this shop! Lovely lovely homewares. Not unique, but a good collection that is always in good taste.
The lady who is always working in the shop is quite rude and unfriendly, even if you have purchased something. She has been there for years, so I assume she is the owner. It always takes away the shine off my purchases. I come back though, because the quality of goods for sale is so good.

The girls at Humble Beginners have a very special skill - they have filled their little store in Randwick with a range of homewares, jewellery and fashion accessories from which I can always find the perfect gift for my friends and quite often myself. Brilliant small gift and beautiful knick knacks shop - my first choice for personal gifts
Run by two incredibly pleasant, attentive women, this has been about my favourite gift store for at least 10 years. They specialise in three things: small home decor items (lamps, clocks, etc.), beauty and health products (fancy soaps and washes, etc.) and a range of affordable independent designer clothing (robes, tops, etc.). All of it is high quality, reasonably priced ($20 to $150 for most of it) and the place is a delight to visit, from the service I've mentioned to the quality of the advice and the charming fitout and feel. It's the go-to gift store for people in the Randwick area, but it's absolutely worth a special trip for others.
