Daring darling Latteria
Still great focaccias (the tuna!) and excellent coffee
After all these years, this hip hole in the wall is still dependably delicious and inexpensive. I've never been able to go past the tuna and marinated garden vegetables focaccia but all the food and coffee's good.
If you've never eaten there, and are in the area, you must - it's a Sydney sandwich institution.
Great coffee and salami focaccia!
I started going to Latteria (Parmalat) when it was 1st opened by Derru (spelling?). Has not changed much Tommy, Veto & Pino are still there pumping out great coffee and yummo focaccia.
The pastries are not good anymore. Before they were light and very buttery. Early in the morning still warm from the bakery. Now the choc croissant I had recently was large & dry.
I get out & about more nowadays but still pop in for a salami hit.
If you haven't hung Latteria you haven't hung The East! This place is an Institution.
