Members Equity

I came into contact with this bank as a result of my super fund in federal government. When I first got a mortgage I checked out all the major banks, tried to work out all the comparison rates etc and finally one of the other banks said to me "we cant beat members equity - so there is no point us talking any further". So I used Members Equity and they were great. When  they said there were no fees there really were NEVER any fees - no application fees, no account keeping fees, not even to use ATMs as many times as you want etc. They are great to talk to on the phone, the website is great to do all your banking on. I still use them for every day banking but as they are not backed by any of the major banks we don't have our life's savings with them but rather Bankwest which is apparently owned by CBA.
