Cool shop!
Love the aesthetic at Monster Threads - a bit Japanese, a bit nostalgic, a bit modern. The shop is mostly t-shirts with quirky/cute artwork for men, women, and kids, but there's also lots of gift items and accessories and a few homewares. Things are pretty reasonably priced, and service is good. Great place to get a gift.

Two of my favourite t-shirts are from Monster Threads. Also my favourite hoodie. I'm wearing it right now!
There are about 1000 boring places to buy a t-shirt. Forget about boring and head down to monster threads!
The designs are unique and the staff are very helpful.
The colour palette is great also. Nobody cares for primary colours these days. That was so 1998. Go for a classic black and white, or get a little crazy with a grey/brown with a tiger print- my favourite!
But seriously, this place is a cool venue to shop. I recently took my sister out to the Newtown store to buy her a present for her birthday. She was extremely excited and pleased with the shirt I picked out for her. A very cute design, and plenty to choose from.

Fun rtworks and illustrations on t-shirts!
Monster threads is one of those cool, funky stores that sells products from t-shirts and hoodies, to bags, homewares, greeting cards and jewellery. The best thing about Monster Threads is how they come up with the concepts for designs on the products. They use established graphics and illustation artists to come up with designs for their t-shirts, etc to bring their works from international galleries and magazines to us. A lot of the designs are reallly quirky and fun.
Every time i go in there, I end up buying another t-shirt. For the ladies, they have a great neck line, not too high and not too low.
And I always seem to leave with a little gift from them to me. The first time they threw in a free mouse pad with the same design on it as one of my shirts and a magnet. The secone time, they caught me looking at a little greeting card and just threw it in the bag for me. Great customer service, very helpful and willing to make you feel special.
And speaking of value for money, a t-shirt is only $35 and hoodies $59. Not a bad price for such a cool design concept.
