Mosman Kinderland

When I arrived in Australia, I was shocked to find that I couldn't just walk into a high quality child care center and get a spot.  In a panic, I created a complex spreadsheet that evaluated ~20 centers on the Northshore.  I then visited them all, handed in my $25 application to all of them, and begged and pleaded with them to take my children or at least allow me to play for the honor of being on the waitlist.  When I stood back and added up the scores on about 10 attributes (OK, perhaps I had too much time on my hands), Mosman Kinderland was at the top of the list.  Quite simply, they have the best set of teachers I have ever come across.  In over 2 years that my children have been there, there has not been one change in the teaching staff, except for new additions.  The women who work there clearly love their own company.  They love the kids like they would their own.  They are incredibly nurturing, but also expect the children to be their own best self.  The thing that strikes me, when compared to other centers they have gone to is that there is such an atmosphere of calm in that place. There is lots of laughter, but there is no sense that the staff are overwhelmed and they always have time to chat.  I always know exactly how my daughter is going.

I truly cannot imagine what I would have done without Mosman Kinderland.  My spreadsheeting clearly paid off!
