Museum of Sydney Cafe and Bar

It should have been so good! Swanky website, great location. Good vertical logo. Nice build-out. But beware! The Museum of Sydney Café is very underwhelming.  It is as if the staff know that the restaurant is crappy, and they have just given up.  I went here with my hubby on Friday night. They sat us in this tiny table near the bar, and only very reluctantly moved us to the normal dining room when we asked… and the entire restaurant was empty! What’s up with that?!  We had the dip platter and the scallop appetizer to start. Bland. So bland that I had to salt the dips!  Then I had the special, Barramundi, which as $42.00. For $42.00, I would think you would get a nice piece of fish, well-seasoned. NOT. Bland. Mushy. Needless to say, I pounded the rest of my red and we paid up and walked out. Bad. Bad. Stay away, far far away!
