Lovely Japanese nail salon
Koko is a really lovely place to have your nails done. The staff are welcoming and help you feel at ease with their Japanese hospitality. Standards of hygene are good and the chairs are very comfortable. The last time I had my toes done here the polish lasted for over a month and barely chipped during that time. The last time I had my hands done, however, the polish was a little on the thick side, but it certainly did last. Definitely highly recommended.
My favourite nail salon in Sydney
Tucked away upstairs next to Wynyard station is Koko Nails - and they are worth the effort to find. Pedicures & manicures are reasonably priced, very skillfully done, and include a good massage. What's more, the place is clean and tidy, and they use individual basins for your feet so there's none of the yuckiness of those pedicure chairs - and customers sit in a great La-Z-boy type chairs which is super-comfortable. The Japanese staff are lovely too. Note that they are only open weekdays. To get there: if you are looking at the Wynyard station on George Street, on your left you will see a narrow escalator. Go up this, and the next escalator, and you will see the nail salon on your right in the little arcade up there.
