Ocean Room

For once, I'm stumped for words. A colleague and I went to the Ocean Room the other night and I am having trouble finding the appropriate words to describe the experience. Let's try *stunning*. A beautiful modern interior setting with views directly at the Opera House (you may want to call to ensure that your beautiful view isn't blocked by a huge honking cruise ship before you go). Enough sake options to satisfy even the most finicky connoisseur. Hot, cold, milky, anyway you like it. The Tuna Creation is beautiful - different pieces of tuna accompanied by different salts and condiments. The soft-shelled crab tacos were to-die-for and the calamari (served in banana-leaf cups) was unique and oh-so-crispy. Amazing food, and so different from usual standard Japanese menu. Five stars. Bravo!
