Chaotic but worth the hunt
I discovered Peter's of Kensington when I was deciding on a wedding registry and found it was the best value for money. It has all the high-end brands- Villeroy & Boch, Wedgewood, etc. It's very chaotic and you have to know what you want to a certain degree, but the prices can't be beat anywhere in Sydney. And the wedding registry is very easy to set up and allows for online shopping- key in this day & age!
The best prices, not the best experience
Every time I come to Peter's of Kensington, I leave feeling somewhat traumatised. The crowds! The massive selection! The queues! The crowded aisles! It's sensory overload. And coming here on a Saturday, let alone a Saturday at Christmas time, is all that times 100. But I keep coming back, as the prices are the best I've found, and they almost always have the item I'm looking for. So, yes, I recommend them - but I also recommend putting on some armour first.
Great Value and the on-line store is amazing !
Whether you visit the store in person or utilise their great website and shop online - you will not be disappointed. I always go here for gifts and price matching for lines such as Wedgwood china. .
