Very good browsing opportunities
This small bookshop has a range of books that we find very appealing. We never manage to leave without buying something. I have found the staff's advice to be very helpful (although it is the kind of place where you need to ask for it - otherwise they just leave you to your own devices, which is fine by me).
Approachable Male Customers
I really liked this place as a pick-up joint for young male customers. The shy glance in the bookshelves is a real turn on. Two big thumbs up.
Good small bookstore with thoughtful selection
I've been tossing up whether to give this bookshop 3 or 4 stars. The four-star bits: good, thoughtful selection including some genres (such as crime, kids, travel) ; nice environment/layout/decor so it's pleasant to browse; good location; prices are standard Australian book prices (i.e., high, but no higher than elsewhere). The three-star bits: I've found service doesn't go the extra mile (like, say, Arial) and at times isn't that friendly. Now that I've written all this, I think the balance is leaning towards four - bing, upgrade!
