Good for the soul as well as your soles
Great value, Great service
Peter completely surprised me by teaching me the art of a great shoe shine. I was used to shining my own leather and hadn't planned to get my boots done-up as I strolled through Strand Arcade one rainy afternoon, but as I walked by I was drawn into the dignified set-up that comes from self-respect and a respect for the kind of footwear that you don't have to replace every season. I was totally impressed with the way my boots have worn since the shine-- through the winter's rains without getting soggy or dull. Treat yourself to a shine... truly good for your soles.
A great shoeshine & outstanding service

Peter and his crew at The Prince Consort's Shoe Shine do a fabulous job of making leather shoes look new, as well as being invariably friendly and helpful. This is the only shoe shine place I'm aware of in Sydney where you can get the shoes you are wearing shined (that is, now that his shop in the QVB has closed - boo!). Whenever you're in the CBD, stop by Peter's for a shine!
