There's no better kayaking place in the Eastern Suburbs

If you want to Kayak on the weekend, there is no better place to go in the Eastern Suburbs. Good range of Kayaks, wetsuits, oars etc, for approx $20/hr. Easy kayaking around Shark Island or to the nearby beaches. The team there are always willing to help out newbies, and I cannot recommend the experience enough. One tip is that it is worthwhile checking the current weather at Fort Denison (see the Bureau's website www.bom.gov.au), to see if the wind speed is above 15 knots (any higher and it is probably not great for kayaking).
