Sepia Restaurant & Wine Bar: Sydney

Went on a sat night where they do a tasting only menu with or without matching wines we went with matching wines which weren't too bad some of the whites were hit and miss but all the reds were very good. The first couple of dishes were great nice mix of Japanese and French though a fish dish would of been nice. Mains were ok but a bit heavy with the jus desserts finished the meal nicely with a cool cheese course and the chocolate dessert had some excellent textures and flavours. I think the wine menus need a little explaining and would be nice to see a menu with a list of dishes but I also didn't do much research on the restaurant before eating there. Service was efficient and friendly but waiter needs to mention if we want more bottled water before refilling. Definetly coming back to try the a la carte menu for lunch or dinner as the menu sounds great on the website.
