Not the most relaxed environment
I booked myself and a mate in for a pedicure, it said on the website the treatment would last 30 to 40 mins, but I was out of the chair in 15. It still cost me $30
The water had not even finished filling in the tub before my foot was whipped out and the pedi began in earnest. There were no other customers waiting, my mate was in his chair for an extra 5 minutes, but we both felt rushed. I honestly felt like I was putting the woman out. Maybe they thought because we were men that we wouldnt care?
The result was satisfactory, but if you are looking to unwind for 30 mins, go elsewhere.
I'll go elsewhere for my next pedi
The Sexy Nails shop in Surry Hills looks attractive - well-lit, freshly painted, and the chairs are clean & white - but closer inspection reveals things aren't quite as pristine as they appear: the waxing dispensers were messy, the trays looked like they hadn't been wiped down. This was consistent with my experience of a pedi & waxing. The results were adequate, but the experience wasn't all I'd hoped for - I found the service a bit brusque and the technician a bit rough, and rushed (even though no customers were waiting). So, next time, I'll go elsewhere.
