Great customer service to ensure that your child's shoes are a great fit!
This is a good kids' shoe shop where the staff are always so helpful and patient and will measure your child's foot and go out of their way to ensure that the shoes are the perfect fit. They also have a good programme whereby you can get a free pair of shoes if you buy a certain number of shoes within a specified time frame. The range of shoes is good - I usually opt for Clarkes or Keds shoes. The staff will give you great advice on which pair of shoes is the best fit for your child's foot. A great kids' shoe store tucked away on the second floor at the Eastgardens shopping centre.
Reduce parental stress!
Shopping with toddlers is close to the bottom of the list of desireable activities and unfortunately, when you needs shoes for your toddler, there's not much choice but to bring them along. Shoes and Sox, however, has worked out ways to make the experience bearable at least - ticket numbers (so you don't have to scrum to wait your turn), a dedicated person helping you when it is your turn, and staff that are friendly, knowledgeable, and used to dealing with little ones. Yes, the shoes here can be pricey - level depends on the brand - but being able to get in and out with the correct items makes it more than worth it, and I've found the brands they do have very sturdy, so we only need to buy one pair per size level. Extra plus for the Shoes & Sox in Eastgardens is that the store is right near a mall entrance/exit.
