Delicious food and friendly service
Having visited this cafe/bakery many times, you should know that the food is always fresh, delicious and the staff very very friendly.
The service is the worst and the staff think they are above everyone
Simmone Logue at Cammeray has fantastic food. I really can't fault them on that. It's great. Expensive, but great.
But the staff that work there think they are above everyone and it's so slow. If you order a take-away coffee and cake, they physically write it on a piece of paper (the coffee order and cake order), then you pay, then you wait. And wait. And wait. Seriously, why can't they just give you the cake whilst you are waiting? It irritates me no end and now that they've got some competition with Pattisons Fine Foods they are going to have to lift their game.
Good food, pleasant setting
Simmone Logue in Cammeray is a great spot to meet a friend, or business contact, for a coffee or lunch chat: there's lovely light, the tables are big enough for papers, the food is good, and the parking is easy. And as an extra bonus, you can do a quick stop at Harris Farm after to pick up groceries. Fair warning though: the prices are pretty high. Overall though, it's worth it for the combination of food and convenience.
I love this little spot for a bit of tart on a sunny day..!
Great spot for a deli lunch on a sunny day. Delicious goats cheese tart. Good family pies but a little pricy and could be better value for money.
