St Peters Fruit World

Ok - it ain't much of a place to look at. In fact the most glamorous visual aspect of St Peters Fruit World is the perennial, faded Christmas decorations festooning the store. However, if quality fruit & veg at rockbottom prices excites you, then this place delivers. As with any fresh produce, it is always best to buy seasonally. To this end, you will usually find big pallets of cheap in-season fruit right at the entrance. While veg and other more exotic produce line the three main aisles of this sizeable store. (There is also a basic grocery store and deli at the back, but not usually worth venturing into). Definitely give this place a look-see if you usually shop at Marrickvile Metro around the corner...
