My favourite choice for holiday bookings!
Stayz has been an absolute gem of a find in holiday booking. Especially seeing my partner and I are often time strapped and can only take short breaks and we always want our Labrador to come with us.
Being able to suss out places close to Sydney that are pet friendly that don't cost the earth has been really important. We even decide our holidays now based on important things like leash free dog beaches, proximity to wine regions and being able to chill in the quiet as opposed to full on touristy districts so its been great. It's particularly wonderful being able to plan to whatever budget we have at the time (which fluctuates as I am a freelancer) and within a week or two's notice in off peak times.
We have never had an off putting or bad experience, whether it be us going for a holiday or if we are bringing a big group of us. Being able to have 5 or 6 mates tag along and not trip over them in the house and have an arvo barbie and a beer after a surf with a wet dog having a nap is just grand.
Its stayz all the way in this household!

My family and I have used the Stayz site to book rental accommodation at various holiday destinations around Australia a few times - it's fairly well organised, the search engine generates mostly helpful options, the information has always proved reliable and it's pleasant and re-assuring dealing, as one mostly does on the site, with the accommodation's individual owner - who, unsurprisingly, will go the extra mile to ensure one's stay is comfortable.
If you haven't tried it for your local Oz holiday bookings, you're missing out.

Stayz is a host site for all kinds of people renting all kinds of holiday properties across the country. Searching can be a little unweildy, but it's possible to search by location, price and size of house/apartment. My favourite feature lists the distance to the beach of each beach-side property.The site has comprehensive photo galleries for most properties, and very thorough property descriptions as well as customer reviews. Once you have made your choice, your dealings transfer away from the Stayz site, and you negotiate directly with the property owner or manager, so in this regard experiences can differ in ways out of the control of Stayz.
