I work around the corner and i am spoilt with choice with ten buck and detour.

Great service from Nick who is honest which i like bit over this fake barista service you get these days hard to hide with a fellow hospitality worker.

Little marionette coffee is excellent nice sour and nutty notes best piccolo in sydney.

Check out the steak sandwhich with a great medium rare steak on non sourdough white bread just like i had when i was a kid.

all the lame over spent bike work is finished which ten buck didnt need

great little local sad its closed on sundays id be there every sunday if it was open

Best coffee in Sydney. THE BEST.

Nick is a barrista of pure class. Our office swears by his coffee and we must be making him a rich man. If you like your coffee to taste like coffee, instead of warm milk that has subtle coffee aromas, then get your ass here. He'll also remember your name and order - and also chat football if you care to remove the face glued to your iphone.

Every morning you'll be that loser going "MMhhmhmhmh, oh man, that's good *orgasm face*" when you take your first sip, but you won't care how stupid you sound/look. God, I need a coffee.

Also, must mention Ten Buck sell Adriano Zumbo pastries, which a freaking awesome - even if you hate Masterchef.

Oh and the few times I've eaten in, I've always been very impressed. Home made baked beans with chorizo, quality poached eggs and a $10 sandwich that will make you cry.

Mashed avocado on toast is to die for

Dave can be a little grumpy, but he makes an awesome coffee. The mashed avo on sonoma soy & linseed sourdough is delicious. Really yummy for breakfast.

Ten Buck Alley still satisfies...

Every self-respecting Sydneysider needs a go-to spot for Saturday breakfast. This is currently mine. Low-key vibe, tasty food (well, the poached egg, linseed toast and upscale baked beans are good every time I have them, which is every time) and coffee that will actually wake you up. Overall, this is a step up from the services previously provided in this alley; I just wish they didn't put those hotel-style rods in the newspapers, and I do wish they were open Sundays.

Friendly service, great breakfast

The breakfast here is excellent - particularly the herb & feta omelette - and the coffee is good.  The service is always welcoming and just the right degree of attentive.  I've been for lunch too, which is also good.  I feel bummed for them that the cycleway construction has put a fence around them for months, making it look as if the place is closed (it's not).  Hopefully that will be done soon and they'll get more exposure.

Great place for lunch

Great menu selection.  Good food, quick service and cozy atmosphere.  There's construction going on in front of the building, so it's a little hard to see the restaurant from the street.
