My Favourite Sydney Cafe
The Third Village is my favourite Sydney cafe, the coffee is always amazing. The wall mural is a great highlight and all round makes a great place to hang out. The upstairs area is my favourite, a bit quieter and easier to get a seat. The food is always delicious, the poached eggs are always perfect. Great value too.

Have never had a bad experience from these guys either food or service wise.
They have an interesting and tasty menu and they do even ham and cheese toasties in the level that actually belies being called gourmet (seriously, a proper usage of the word!). I've dined form both breakfast and lunch and love it.
The coffee is fresh (large ones come in bowls that you can actually handle as opposed to difficult ones that just act like a giant ceramic puzzle) and the food is great and the vibe is pretty cool too.
Delicious food, good vibe
Went to Third Village for breakfast and was thoroughly impressed with the food on offer. Plenty of tempting options with poached eggs with toast, lentils and roasted pepper the unlikely but delicious winner. Good coffee and a nice vibe make this a go-to Saturday breakfasteria to rival nearby Ten Buck Alley (which is also superb).
Rapidly becoming a favourite cafe
Third Village is a new arrival to the Stanley Street strip, and a welcome one. It's got the yuppie cafe offer of coffee, brekkie, muffins - but the twist is that everything is made there, and genuinely delicious. I've been there a few times now, and each time, become more of a fan. The service is friendly, the atmosphere pleasant (and I love the mural painting of Darlo), and the food stand-out. The bacon & egg roll has tomato relish, pickles, caramelized onions...yum.
Update: I've now upgraded my rating to five stars. I've been coming here at least once a week and continue to love it!
