Great quality, great range and a great improvement!
How much better is Thomas Dux than the grotty supermarket that was on the site at Fiveways beforehand? Thomas Dux has a great range of stock, great quality stock and they take pride in offering customers what they want, including a hand to get your bags to your car. It is owned by Woolworths, which is a basis for criticism by some. It is also criticised for being expensive. The prices are about the same as the prices at Woolworths but Thomas Dux does stock a more premium range than your average Woolworths supermarket so yes, the prices are higher, but no higher than if you bought those premium products elsewhere. Best of all, Thomas Dux renders trips to Westfield Bondi Junction or the Edgecliff Centre unecessary.
I'll admit it, I like the Dux
When one of the weekly chores becomes an outing, you know that there is some good customer service happening. Thomas Dux is one of those places where you get hungry just strolling the aisles. You can suddenly and irrationally become an audacious menu planner, inspired by the ideas and lured by the fancy condiments. The prices are highly variable with some basics not any more expensive than other alternatives while other products seem to carry a heavy lux-dux tax. Given the friendly counter service, the beautiful fresh produce, and the manageable size, I'm a fan of T. Dux. Thomas Dux, you make me like grocery shopping again.
The funnest way to do your grocery shopping!
The cheese man is seriously cute, and you can get away with some good sampling before splurging $30 for a precious wedge of unpasteurised gooey goodness. Whilst you're in the dairy section, they have the best selection of Maggie Beer and gourmet icecreams. This is the funnest way to do your grocery shopping!
