Universal Health

About 3 years ago, a yoga instructor told me I had a twisted hip joint and if I didn't do something asap, I'd need a hip replacement by 60. That was enough to scare the hell out of me and I shipped myself off to an osteopath, as recommended. Two months later I was suffering headaches and back pain as the osteo tried to correct my many spinal related issues. Frustrated, I decided to try something else and went to a kinesiologist recommended by a friend.

What is kinesiology you might well ask? I know I sure did. So here's the official line: Kinesiology uses muscle testing to identify problem areas, and massage, touch, nutrition, and counselling to restore balance. It works on the philosophy that all stress, imbalances and blockages in the nervous system, can be detected by testing the tension in certain muscles. 

I love telling people how it works for me and 3 years later, I still pop in to see the guys at Universal Health when I'm stressed or suffering from back pain. Kinesiology sounds a little airy fairy but it works for me. I suffer from anxiety and sit at a computer all day which is terrible for my back and neck. Through a combination of chiro and kinesiology, Universal Health helps me power on.
