Excellent food, nice setting, professional service
Ended up at Verde for date night with hubby, and I was impressed. The woman at front of house fit us in without a reservation with no drama, and proceed to provide excellent service: perfectly timed, efficient, and friendly (but not OTT). The modern Italian food was delicious too - I had the prawn tagliatelle which was a perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and tart. And the final element of the package - setting - was good too: warm lighting, buzzy atmosphere, intimate, but not too much, and a mix of ages and types of people (that is, within the Inner Sydney types...).
Overall, very pleased with the experience, and will definitely be back - also pleased to discover Verde can be booked online!
