Great value
Its nice to have the offering of an outdoor pool not too far out of the way to relax, have a plod up an down and enjoy the sun.
If its not very nice weather, Sydney Uni pool is only a 3 min walk up the road with the luxury of a roof!
Cheapest public pool in Sydney City
Great value
One thing Sydney city is not short of is public swimming pools - there are 5 strewn across the local council region!
Of the lot, Victoria Park pool is currently the cheapest with $4.80 the fee for adult single entry ($3.10 for concession, $12 for families - plus multi-visit discounts are available).
Somehow, despite being wedged between very busy Parramatta and City Roads, this pool exudes a natural calm, set amongst rolling green slopes and manicured parkland.
Heated all year around, it is a great place to chuck some laps anytime. Or in warmer months, many families and groups make the most of the ample grass and shade cloth to chill out.
