I must agree with the previous reviews about the pies and sausage rolls being the best that I have eaten. But now they have a spicy beef pattie that is just amazing. A chilli and lime? flavoured minced beef filling in the tastiest pastry ever. I eat food from this place every day and get withdrawl symptoms on Mondays when they are shut.
Plus the bread and pastries are just amazing. I never shop anywhere else now.
The best pie I have ever eaten!
Seriously, I found out about this place thru Twitter, and man am I glad I did. They are only new but their pies are simple yet so delightful. I haven't ever tasted a pie as good as these guys. It's almost as though they use sour dough pastry or something because the flavour is so unique, flavoursome and scrumptious.
Haven't tried anything else as they sold out of pretty much everything by the time I had arrived, but will def be back for more!
This is what Redfern needs!
The sausage rolls & pies are the best we have eaten! Love the puff pastry. You gotta be quick, because they sell out quickly. This is what Redfern needs.....passionate people running businesses.
