Yulli's made my day. I sampled the salt-and-pepper tofu, the plum dumplings, and the haloumi.  All were gold stars.  I understand that the salt-and-pepper number is gaining a cult following. You should go in and find out why for yourself.

Outdoor area tres cool in summer

For a vegetarian place, it sure does have a fantastic selection of beers and wines. The outdoor area is fantastic in summer (though could do with air con in the back room (or better yet leave the beer fridge unlocked!)), and the food is tasty.

Would like them to reconsider the tables though - the boxes leave nowhere to put your legs!

Good place - I even forgot it's vegetarian

Another excellent new Sydney wine bar-style venue. Comfy seats, swift and friendly service, good beer, relaxed vibe and very tasty nibbles add up to a very enjoyable and low-key venue. Food was tasty, too - I'd even forgotten it's vegetarian!

Drinks + vegetarian food that even a carnivore can love

As anyone in my family can tell you, I am a not a big fan of vegetables ("veggies in disguise" is the refrain for family meals).  But even I loved the all-vegetarian food at Yulli's. Besides the good food, there are drinks, and a fun vibe:  in the evening, it's hopping with hipsters; in the day, it's a mellow read-the-paper-while-you-lunch spot.  A good place to go for a break when wandering Surry Hills.

Yulli's is just grand. It has to be easily my favourite vego place to dine in Sydney.

I have been going here since they first opened, when people would get their nose out of joint and bail loudly as they left they had been "mislead" because no one had let them know it was vegetarian (should they hang a carrot in the window you nonces? would that suffice?) and continue to this day.

Yulli's have an awesome selection of craft beer and a very well chosen wine list. Am particularly fond of starting my experience with a Wicked Elf beer and thier awesome chip platter, which features lotus, beetroot, fried onion and more with chilli sea salt and other flavours.

The mussaman pie and the absolutely sinful white belgian choc slice are to die for. They also have a private-ish dining spot for up to 15 people and have never screwed up the many times we have used it.

Spoil ya vego mates, take 'em to Yulli's- you wont regret it!
