A great pub with a mellow, comfy vibe...but I've found service a mixed bag. The place itself has an intimate, old-fashioned feel, and drinks are inexpensive. One could easily while away hours here, either in the cozy indoor area, or the outdoor seating (I certainly have). What's particularly great is that there are NO pokies here! (Sign quoted above.) I've found service to be adequate, though not stellar by any means. Nonetheless, it's one of my very favourite pubs in Sydney. BTW, they also offer simple, no-frills accommodation, old-fashioned pub lunches, and you can also get delivery of delicious pizzas from Puntino across the street.
