The company kept billing me even after I cancelled my membership. Their policy is that members need to give at least 4 weeks' notice. That's fine, but they kept billing me even after the 4 week period. When I called to point this out, no one would return my call. The billing continued for another 2 months and only stopped when my credit expired. The first time I heard from them was when one of the employees from their collections dept called to say I owed them money! I explained to him that in fact it was Fitness First who owed me money as they kept billing me long after the 4 week cancellation period.
The bill collector was so rude that I hand delivered a letter to the location and mailed one to the company CEO. I never received a reply.
