Stanley Street Station review by Mel K

My first experience at Stanley Street Station was underwhelming, despite its light-filled corner location and the friendly & competent table service I received.  The disappointment was the food, which seemed to me to reflect a lack of attention to detail:  the "roasted tomato" had been barely cooked on a grill; the toast wasn't really toasted; the sausage was cool and overcooked.  It's too bad, as I want to like this place - I like the idea of a spacious, casual eatery in the neighborhood.  Perhaps it was an off-day - it was Sunday, after all.  I'll give it another go, and report back.
